How Does This Work?

You create a free account and set a Gmail filter to forward your Ingress email damage reports.

The damage reports are processed in realtime into the Outgress analytics and alerting engine.

That's the short version.

Is This Allowed?

We believe so, but you decide.

But My Secret Data!

No one on the opposing faction cares who on their team is attacking you. Do you care who on your team is attacking opposing portals?

Analytics For Ingress

Intel through crowdsourced email damage reports.

No comm scraping, bots or connections to any Niantic servers needed (or used).

Better alerts. Period.

Granular control over Ingress portal attack alerts.
  • Define alerts for group(s) of portals (even if you don't have gear deployed).
  • Get alerts for specific agents within (or outside) a defined perimeter.
  • Alerts for agents self-flipping portals (maybe clearing lanes?).
  • Ability to define a DMZ where you get alerts for any activity.
Alerts work even if attacking agent isn't hitting any resonators (you can get alerts if an agent is carefully ultra striking mods off a portal).
Route alerts to various destinations
It's not uncommon for an Outgress alert to get to you faster than an Ingress push notification.
How fast can alerts based on email actually be? It turns out they can be really, really fast when you have mail servers that deliver emails directly to the application (they do not go to a mailbox that requires checking).

Activity heat maps.

Visualize where activity is.

Advanced intel tools.

Outgress can generate an optimal fielding plan for any group of portals. It can show you portals on the map that you have never sent a damage report from (handy when you are hunting for unique portals).

Portal info.

View attack history for a portal. Leave notes about a portal (for yourself or for your faction). Stake claims on portals to help your faction get organized in your local area of play. Get driving (or walking) directions to any portal with the click of a button.

Agent trends.

Visualize where a specific agent tends to play. See who they play with. Determine the portals they attack the most. See the portals they have potentially held for a long period of time (where they are the last known attacker). Visualize links they have recently broken (are they out clearing lanes?).

Portal nomination tracking.

Track your ingress portal nominations. See which ones have been approved or denied and how long that is taking. Visually see which portal nominations are still pending a final decision in OPR.
