How Does This Work?

You create a free account and set a Gmail filter to forward your Ingress email damage reports.

The damage reports are processed in realtime into the Outgress analytics and alerting engine.

That's the short version.

Is This Allowed?

We believe so, but you decide.

But My Secret Data!

No one on the opposing faction cares who on their team is attacking you. Do you care who on your team is attacking opposing portals?

Resolved Not all email forwards showing up

  1. I have damage reports which have been through the filter and are now in my gmail trash which do not show up anywhere on outgress. It's been hours. Is there a way to see if outgress actually received them?

Do you have an example of a time/portal name? I could check.

  3. Well, now they're all there. Figures that would happen *after* I posted here. :)

I do notice that several attacks were not emailed to me after I started having them sent yesterday. Perhaps that's just a hiccup in the app settings syncing.

The criteria for email damage reports being sent is different than in-game alerts. Email damage reports are when something is destroyed (resonator, mod or link). In-game alerts are when something is damaged (resonator). So for example if someone was ultra striking mods out without hitting a resonator, you would get an email, not an in-game alert (since mods can't be damaged, only destroyed). On the flip side, if someone hits a resonator (drive by) but doesn't kill any resonators or mods, you would get an in-game alert only.
