Ability to test-fire alerts

    It would be great to be able to somehow trigger a full test, by forwarding an email, it would greatly aid in debugging different alert destinations.

    Honestly something like that would probably be more work than I'm willing to do. You would more or less need to isolate "test data" from real data so you effectively would be running parallel instances of data. Allowing test data to flow into real data would cause all sorts of problems.

    The amount of work required for something like doesn't really bring enough benefit at the end of the day.

    Ok, the reason I'm asking, is I've not been receiving alerts on the setup discord endpoint. I figure that the bot is inoperable, but I've got no way of confirming it.

    Is it just Discord or is Discord the only endpoint you have setup?

    It's started working in the meantime, not sure what it was. I had started configuring other endpoints to test it, but all endpoints seemed to come alive simultaneously.

    My gripe remains, in that it's hard to test fire alerts after making changes to the configuration.
