How Does This Work?

You create a free account and set a Gmail filter to forward your Ingress email damage reports.

The damage reports are processed in realtime into the Outgress analytics and alerting engine.

That's the short version.

Is This Allowed?

We believe so, but you decide.

But My Secret Data!

No one on the opposing faction cares who on their team is attacking you. Do you care who on your team is attacking opposing portals?

Create multiple alerts

Discussion in 'Support' started by King for a Day, Sep 6, 2016.

  1. Is it possible to create multiple alerts? I've tried, but apparently I can create only one "any activity" alert, one "Certain agent alert", and so on.

Or am I doing something wrong?

The perimeter alerts (generic alerts for all portals within a perimeter) is a bit of a lazy way to do it, and causes extra resources on our end to process those in realtime... that's why it's intentionally limited to 1 per type. The better way to do it is to use Portal Groups... you can have an infinite number of portal groups, each with an infinite number of portals within each group. That also allows you to carve out groups of portals that aren't necessarily within a perfect circle.

  3. Got it, thank you.
This way will be able to get alerts not even having resonators there or alert slight changes like Ultra Strikes attack or updating mods?

*Some* Outgress user would need to have something on the portal (resonator, mod or link to/from it). But assuming there are multiple Outgress users in your area, yes... you wouldn't need anything on the portal, just at least 1 Outgress user would.
