  1. I always get the following error:

    Your faction has not been determined yet (this is done by processing incoming email damage reports).
    Instructions for setting up email forwarding can be found over here.

    but in portals and agents i can see that my dmg reports are being processed. what can i do to solve this?

    The way the system knows which damage reports are yours is based on your registered email address on your account here.

    Check your email address on your account here: https://outgress.com/account/contact-details

    Does that email address match the address that Niantic is sending email damage reports to? If you look at one of your damage report emails, make sure it matches the "To:" header/email address in that email. If that's not the case, you should just change your email on your account here (link above allows you to do that) and it will automatically link up all the historical emails that came in retroactively.

  4. How long after the emails are forwarded do I have to wait. I am seeing the above mentioned error and have waited a couple of hours.

    It is instant after an actual email comes in (of course it doesn't do anything just by setting up the forwarding rule if nothing was forwarded yet). If something has been forwarded, make sure your account here has the same email as your Ingress account.
     
  6. Hello bro, I have the same e-mail here than the e-mails are getting onto from my Ingress notifications. I have setup forwarding and as far as I can tell e-mails have been sent, however I'm still receiving the message that my identity needs confirming. What can I do/check to ensure this works? I've even changed the case on the e-mail so it reflects the case on the incoming e-mails from Niantic...

    Are you sure? It shows that it knows your faction when I look.

    Weird... Maybe there was some lag with Gmail earlier today or something. Nothing was changed on this end, but cool it somehow worked itself out. :)
     
  10. Hi. Does it forward old emails over or do I have to wait until a new email comes in with Ingress Damage Report: in the subject? I am having the same issues noted above.

    It doesn't retroactively forward old emails. Gmail could be used as a DDoS attack vector then. Imagine if you had a Gmail account with a million emails and you could forward them all instantly to someone just to be a dick. :)

    Once the first email is forwarded, Outgress will send you an email and also give you a link where you can import history if you want.
