Implemented Portal Submissions via Ingress Prime

  1. Hello,

    as Ingress Prime app is now able to submit portal submissions worldwide, and as the text body and sender Email address is different to Ingress REDACTED, are you able to implement their Emails to your Portal Submission Tracking as well?

    See attached example.

    Yes, that is the plan. I need to go submit one myself to see what a baseline English one looks like (probably do that tomorrow).

    Will it also work with non-english eMails, as I can't easily change my Ingress Prime app language?
    Also are we also able to Import or manually forward some older Ingress Prime Emails?

    Hmmm... I don’t have access to any foreign language versions unfortunately so I can’t test it.

    I also haven’t tested approval or denial emails yet because I don’t know what they look like (I only have the submission one I did so far).
     
  6. I could forward german submission and denial emails, if that helps. Let me know to if it's enough to send them to damage@outgress.com.
    I did not receive any approval yet, unfortunately.

    I’ve gotten a few approval emails now in various different languages, but haven’t seen a denial one yet. Can you send it as an attachment here? I really need the original email (not a forward). If you have one in Gmail, you should have an option to view the original email which will have all the raw headers and stuff intact. That’s what I would need.

    I don't want you to get in any hurry, but i noticed that i don't get any new new portal nomination emails Imported into outgress since Saturday. Any ideas?

    Okay, I think in theory it should be working now regardless of language and regardless if it's an old or a Prime style submission email.
     
  11. Okay, it suddenly added all my IngressPrime submissions since 19th of May. But I already had some before, which have been ignored.
    And also, all submissions and submission Updates (rejection/approve) from IngressRedacted are not added anymore since 19th of May.
    I even did a Reimport of all data via your script and nothing changed.

    Can you take another look?

    Okay... first things first. Do you have an example of any portal names that it didn't update the rejection/approval? I should be able to search for them and hopefully figure out what's going on with them.

    The only ones that failed for your email that I can find directly are ones you forwarded manually (a manual forward will never work because the email gets changed).

    "Clubhaus Flugsportverein Speyer e.V." => REDACTED Approved 19.May

    Did not add:
    "Kinderkunst Stromkasten" => REDACTED Submit at 20.May
    "Spielplatz am Pumpwerk" => REDACTED Submit at 20.May
    "Steingesicht" => REDACTED Submit at 20.May

    Did not add correctly (wrong names) :
    "Postfiliale Rohrhof" => Prime Submit 17.May
    "See Garten" => Prime Submit 14.May


    Sorry for forwarding manually, i was not thinking about it. But I used your Import Script as well, and they didn't get updated or submitted.

    Okay, just so I'm clear on what the issues are:
    • Prime nominations *are* working, but it's parsing out the wrong portal name
    • Redacted emails aren't working at all

    I've located the issue with portal name having extra garbage on the end of them (that's been fixed and existing ones have been reprocessed so they should look better now).

    I think all the above issues should be fixed now *except* for Clubhaus Flugsportverein Speyer e.V. not being updated to "approved". I don't think we have the *actual* approval email on our end, only a manually forwarded one.
     
  17. That could be possible, as I had the Redacted forwarding rule disabled one or two days, because i thought this blocked my second forwarding for Prime emails. It should be activated now and i also again used your Import script, which should add the "Clubhaus", as it can be found in my inbox??
    But it still doesn't update

    Can you try doing a full import? Check the box to "Reimport All Data", but *don't* check the one about only importing portal nominations. Will take a bit longer, but at least everything should be brought in and processed.
